Squirrels you have had an amazing two terms with me and your going to be a hard class to forget about.  I have had a wonderful start to my 2015 year by teaching my favorite year group which of course is year 1.  Thank you Squirrels for making this a pleasurable stay at Selsdon Primary School and also a big thank you to all of your parents.  I hope that you can see how much you have changed over the year and all the hard work you have put in.  WELL DONE AND GIVE YOUR SELF A BIG PAT ON THE BACK.

IN YEAR 2 YOU WILL BE GOING INTO THE ROBIN CLASS

With another great teacher Miss Desai who I have worked with over the last year planning and preparing all the learning that we have completed in year 1.  I am very sure your going to have as much fun with her as you have had with me.

Please keep on trying no matter how hard the learning is, making mistakes just lets you know what you can do better, never give up and always ask for help from adults and friends.

Do not worry, I will be back to see how you are getting on in the future.

A big thank you and well done.

Mind Blowing Facts!

For the last time this year, your challenge is to find the most mind blowingly awesome scientific fact that you can.

Example: 🌕

On Saturn’s moon, ‘Titan’, the atmosphere is so thick and the gravity so low, that a human could actually fly like a bird!

Have fun and good luck!

p.s. There will be a special prize for the winner this week!

Tomorrow is our end of year Family Evening.

As in previous years, it is not necessary to book an appointment for this event – you can turn up any time between  5.30pm and 7.30pm to speak with your child’s teacher and to collect their end of year report.

We look forward to seeing you then.
